We are a small group of people that have been brought together by unfortunate circumstances. We have all been affected, in some way, by cancer and have decided to try and do something positive to help others fight this frightening illness.

Ever thought of driving a tractor? This could be your chance, click the tractor image to find out more about how you could join in.

We are organising a funding raising event to support the work of the

 Y.O.U. (Young Oncology Unit)

at The Christie Hospital and Research Centre in Manchester

This arduous journey on a 1955 vintage tractor will start at John’O’Groats and finish at Lands End.   We are hoping for people to join us en route either with their tractors or by driving our 1954 guest tractor for an am/pm stage of our journey.  All you will require is a clean driving licence and suitable clothing to drive your part of the journey.

Vintage tractors were not built for speed; in fact we estimate an average speed of 10/12 mph meaning it will take us 14 days to complete the journey,  2 days transportation to the start point and another day from the journeys end to bring the tractors back home.

The team is made up of 10 people who are giving a considerable amount of their time to make this happen.
